Cookies and analytics

A production site may use strictly necessary cookies and, where configured, privacy-conscious analytics to understand high-level publication use. Non-essential cookies should not be set without an appropriate consent mechanism where required. This exported static version does not submit newsletter or contact-form data.

Contact forms

If a live form is connected, it should collect only the information needed to respond, state the processor and retention period, transmit information securely and provide a reliable alternative email route. Do not send sensitive account or travel information through a general editorial form.

Legal basis and GDPR information

For European readers, a live publisher should identify the controller, describe the applicable legal basis for processing, explain retention, name relevant processors and offer meaningful access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability routes where applicable. The exact notice should be reviewed for the publication’s actual technical setup and jurisdiction.

Third-party media

Pages use externally hosted real photography from Unsplash URLs. A production deployment should disclose this in its own privacy review and evaluate the data flows that arise when readers’ browsers load third-party media.
